Mark Nilsson, Columbia River Gorge artist, lives and works in Hood River, Oregon. He is a well-known regional artist of murals, acrylic paintings, mosaics and illustrations. Brilliant colors used in much of his work imbue a sense of playfulness. Nilsson describes his work as “…representational, more realistic, going into impressionistic, to whimsical.”
